平常很少参与组织活动，查了一下，原来我们学校有将近450个组织，从里面整理出来几个可能华人学生会感兴趣的组织/歇会/俱乐部（按字母排序）：

1, Astronomy Club 天文俱乐部
The SBU Astronomy club serves as an outlet for Undergraduate students interested in astronomy to explore the field of astronomy with peers.

2, Badminton Club 羽毛球俱乐部
Badminton Club is dedicated to the students who would like to excel in the sport of badminton as a common interest for those who play it.

3, Bible Study Group
Through interaction with God’s word and one another it is our hope that the lives of the Bible study members will be profoundly changed.

4, Board Game Club 桌游俱乐部
Our intention for this club is just to have somewhere to relax and take a break from all the studying and stress from being in college by playing board games.

5, Book Club 读书俱乐部
The Book Club's purpose is to promote literary discussion on campus through reading novels selected by the group.

6, Cantonese Club (CTC)
A group of passionate and friendly cantonese student body that strives to provide a platform for fellow cantonese students and also organize event to enhance campus lifestyle and let student know more about cantonese culture. We welcome everyone to join!

7, ChinaBlue
ChinaBlue is a student club that hosts a radio show every Sunday from 7 - 8 PM.

8, Chinese Association at Stony Brook (CASB)
Chinese Association at Stony Brook (CASB) is a cultural organization that is dedicated to promoting the Chinese culture on campus.

9, Chinese Culture&Business Association (CCBA)
The aim of Chinese Culture&Business Association is to provide students with an advanced understanding of Chinese society including business,culture,social system.

10, Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA)
The major aim of the SBCSSA is to promote cultural intellectual and social activities for Chinese students and scholars at Stony Brook and for other interested members of the Stony Brook community.

11, Chinese Unity Club (CUC)
Chinese Unity Club is dedicated to bring Chinese students together and scholar students who are interested in Chinese culture or language at SBU.

12, Comedian's Guild
The Comedian's Guild is a relatively new club on campus dedicated to providing entertainment to students faculty and anyone seeking a good laugh.

13, Fencing Club 击剑俱乐部
SBU Fencing is dedicated to training students how to fence competitively in any of the three weapon categories: Épée, Foil, or Saber.

14, Fine Arts Organization (FAO)
The Fine Arts Organization (FAO) is committed to bringing together students who have an interest in the arts. FAO also hosts the annual Modern Art by Modern Artists Exhibition showing off the artistic talents of SBU students from a wide range of depts.

15, Gamers Guild (SBUGG) 电子游戏俱乐部
The Gamers Guild is a club focused on playing and discussing video games. Meetings are on Thursday nights from 10:00 to 11:30pm in the SAC, room 304. We also host video game tournaments and other events!

Stony Brook University Global China Connection is a chapter of Global China Connection(GCC), the world’s leading student organization dedicated to providing the future leaders of China and the international community with a platform to engage each other.

Our purpose as the Graduate Career Association is to educate students that face mounting challenges in today’s competitive job market.

The GSO is the graduate student government at the Stony Brook University. The GSO is incorporated in the State of New York as a nonprofit organization.

We will have a singing contest every year in the spring and we will have meeting evey week for Karaoke and games.

22, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Alliance (LGBTA)
LGBTA is dedicated to creating a safe environment for members of the LGBTQI/Queer community by connecting them with information safe space resources, and ally support.

The purpose of the MBA Association at Stony Brook University is to be an advocate and representative of the graduate students and alumni of the Stony Brook University College of Business.

The photography club is an organization where any undergraduate student with in an interest in photography may participate in photogrpahy related meetings and events.

Stony Brook Live provides quality entertainment for every group on campus. We play an array of ska, rock, jazz, and pop tunes and welcome new members with open arms! We like to develop musically and sometimes just jam; it's all about the music.

SBU-TV provides students with the opportunity to be part of a growing organization that helps provide the experience of working in video and television.

A free-lending library and lounge space dedicated to science fiction, fantasy, and horror themed books, movies, and other media.

29, Society of Asian Scientists &Engineers (SASE)
Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential.

30, Speech and Debate Society (SBUSDS) 演讲与辩论协会
Speech and Debate Society creates an environment that allows students to pursue excellence in public speaking and oration.

31, Stony Brook Robot Design Team (Robotics) 机器人设计俱乐部
The Stony Brook Robot Design Team is an interdisciplinary organization with the aim to design and build robots that communicate with the outside world.

32, Stony Brook Running Club (SBURC) 跑步俱乐部
The Stony Brook Running Club is a competitive club that wants to see the best out of its members. This club holds practices periodically throughout the week for workouts and hopefully next semester will be competing formally in meets through NIRCA.

Stony Brook Poker Club is an organization where any student can join to learn to play poker and actually play it. The poker games will be for fun and there will be no gambling. We hope for this club to become a place for socializing and relieving stress.

34, Table Tennis Club 乒乓球俱乐部
Table Tennis to all students around the campus. We hold tournaments each semester and have regular practice hours every week. Practice hours for Fall 2013: Wed. 12-2pm Thu. 3:30-5:30pm Meetings are held in the MAC court (basement) of the Rec Center.

Taiwanese Students Association at Stony Brook strives to provide a community where students can learn about Taiwanese culture.
